i have a '93 gs and a '95 ls, i was wondering if the heads were the same, because the one on the '93 has half the miles the other does.

 

i think the 95 has slightly more aggressive cams and small things like that, other than that they are pretty much the same.

 

Compared to the 90-91 there is a pretty big difference, but the 92-93s are the same or real close to it.

90-91 - 130hp
92-93 - 140hp
94-95 - 142hp
96-01 - 140hp

I think the only difference in the 92-01s is ecu differences and some slight changes in the exhaust manifold (length being the key difference).

 

the heads are the same i've use both types, but all ls cams are weak anyways, so u can use different ones.

 

would it be worth swaping over a head with half the miles, and changing cams

 

Is there anything Wrong with the higher mileage one?

 

its much noisier than the other one and its on a junkyard motor so i dont know how well the car was maintained but the other one (93) i know was taken care of

 

If it's cheap enough, just get the older one and swap some stuff around.

 

i already have the car, its totaled, not sure if i wanna fix it
