Having a problem....
I just bought my car about 6 months ago. It's bone stock. I have only put about 9k on the new battery and today it acted like it was almost dead. It barely even turns over. Any suggestions? I already checked plugs, wires, distributor, rotor. etc. Is it the starter then? Please help?
Battery's draining. Check it with a voltmeter right after shutting off, then again after a couple hours. Either you've got something that doesn't turn off like an amplifier, or the battery is self-discharging. Look for stuff like a trunk light that stays on. Disconnect your battery cables & see if the battery still drains itself. Your battery isn't that old, but its not impossible for it to be bad, either.
I don't have a voltmeter but, on my break I checked it out. I let it run for about 10 min. and it starts up fine. I popped the hood to check it out and I can here the battery making noise. Kinda like when you open a soda bottle real slow. I think it's time for the optima battery.
simple test
disconnect the positive of the battery while
car is running if it dies its the altenator
and the simptom you describe is that the
altenator is overcharging your battery
that why it hear it bubbling
so change both battery and altenator.

I did the alternator test but it didn't die. The fizzling noise is very quiet. If this is faulty could it still be under warranty? I have a 75k mile warranty and like I said I'm only at 47k.

If it makes the fizzing noise when it's shut off, that doesn't sound like the alternator overcharging the battery. I'm guessing the battery is bad. Of course, voltage measurements would be good.
I don't think it would be making that noise if you just had a trunk light or amplifier that didn't turn off.
About the warranty, extended warranties have all kinds of different coverage. But it's sure worth a phone call to find out... Besides, your battery isn't that old, so it might have it's own warranty, too.
