GSR Vafc Problems please help!!
hello I have a 95 gsr and have intake exhaust and headers and exhaust on it and was looking for a lil more so i decided to buy a apexi vafc for it. wired in according to specs but while testing it rev limits or fuel cuts at 6500 and it doesn't seem like vtech is hitting anymore. all the gauges are working correctly and the vtech gauge said it turns on but not to sure if it really is. im sick of hearing it cut out on me and don't no what to do. the car ran fine up until i installed it.please please help me. and was wondering if i can fix it if i can just take the whole thing out and just go back to stock because it was faster before.

you either wired it wrong, the unit is faulty or it's not set up correctly. if you don't own a wideband take it out since you have no ability to measure your tune. if you do own a wideband we can chat more on how to tune. set vtec in bypass mode which should default to the ecu. redline at 6500 and no slower sounds like for one reason or another vtec is not working. also, when you wired it did you DL the newest update from the apexi website on the install. if i remember right a wire changed, could have been the vafc2, can't remember at the moment

no didnt down load anything but there is also another problem. when i take it out around 1000 to 2000 it sputters and it smells like it is dumping fuel or some thing. and it also is louder. but the car seems to run good.
