gsr header question
My homie is selling me a dc 4-1header for a 99 gsr. I want to know if it ill fit my 2000 gsr... I've seen that dc makes a header for 94-99 and another for 00-01

Like he said, the A pipes are different lengths.

you could probably do it, but not only are the A pipes different lengths the header itself is, so you'd have to make sure your O2 sensors would reach to the cat.
if you want to modify it you'd have to modify it after the cat.

The header is the A-pipe. If you want to install a '99 GS-R header on a '00 GS-R, you'll just need to lengthen the B-pipe (the piping between the cat and the muffler) by roughly 4.5" inches. It should be relatively simple and inexpensive for any exhaust shop to handle. One other thing you will need to do, however, is install another O2 bung somewhere before the cat.
