Okay, I really want to rip on you, but I won't. You need to get a custom ECU tune instead of wasting your money on a Spoon ECU that isn't tuned for your particular setup. Here's what you need to do:
1.) Spoon ECUs are a waste of money. For the love of God, don't buy one. Why? Because they're not tuned to your particular engine. They're tuned for an N/A Spoon engine, which is also a waste of money.
2.) Get an OBD1 VTEC ecu from our classifieds section, ebay, xenocron.com, etc. You need to either buy one that is chipped, or you can chip it yourself. I'd just make it easier on yourself and have someone else chip it.
3.) To get any real performance gains, your going to need to get a tune. (that's the whole point of chipping the ECU). Run a stock map (what you have now) until you get it tuned. Most people that sell ECUs will burn a stock chip for you.
A custom tuned ECU will kick a Spoon, Mugen, JUN etc. ECU any day of the week.
