Fuel Pressure dropping...WHY?
OK guys...i cant figure out whats wrong with my car...when the car is on and running the fuel pressure runs at about 40-45 psi...I have an AEM fuel pressure regulator..and an edelbrock fuel rail...the problem is...as soon as I turn off the car the fuel pressure drops instantly to 0psi...is this normal? also if i turn the key to the on position but not start it the fuel pressure goes up to about 35 psi then drops to 0 psi instantly...
I also have a walboro fuel pump that was new when I bought it.
any help would be great
thanks, JMAN

Sounds like the FP is working and so is your FPR, but it also sounds like you have a small leak somewhere...maybe a fuel line...
The only way to do that is to put a gauge on the fuel rail. If the gauge reading is not at the default pressure, then you have to change the fuel pressure regulator. In my opinion, I would change the entire fuel assembly(fuel filter, Fuel regulator, and fuel pump).
