front lca joint problem
i'm having problems trying to get this joint out so i can get the axle out, i worked around it and got the axle out but now i want it out so i can press in a new one.

it's the very last joint on the hub assembly that holds the lower control arm and hub together. i tried putting a jack under and jacking it, try prying, hammering it and it won't come out, any ideas before i cut it out?

if you ever have an issue like this again where you're trying to take the axel out but the hub wont seperate from the lce then just unbolt it up top on the a-arm. The axel will slide out just fine if thats seperated..
My advice on your current problem is hit it harder and with a bigger hammer if you have to.

You have to have the right kind of hammer and know where to hit it to get it to pop.
You can also jack it up, prop a 1/2" drive ratchet in between the knuckle and the LCA, lower the jack, and step on the caliper. That can also get it to pop fairly easily.
Either method works well.
