flywheel is loose
How the hell does my flywheel get loose? This is causing my car not to start. I can reach into the starter hole and move my flywheel in and out. Either it is cracked or loose, but how does this happen? Since it is going to be a 5 hour job it is getting a Comptech alum fw and a act hdss clutch.

Re: flywheel is loose (lilcasino)
I recently repaired a civic with a loose ring gear. Starter wood spin gear only not
the flywheel so the car wouldn't start. I believe the this could have bean caused by
a bad starter or a poor slip fit of the gear to the flywheel. We welded it and everything turned out ok.
