Default Exhaust And Headers -- Sources Of Info

Hey guys, I wanted to read up on installing exhausts and headers, and which products are best for integra's and why? Im sure this topic has been put up before, but after sifting through hundreds of exhaust and header topids, I have only learned specific things. Please no search ***** yelling PLZ, everyone has shirked a search before also . Anyways, if anyone has any good links or tips or pics it would be greatly appreciated. Im new and im trying my best to catch up.

Titan Motorsports did "The Great Header Test" try searching that first, that is half you battle, then find a exhaust that will compliment the header you want. Also make sure the piping is the same.

Hmm, can you explain a little more? I kno piping diamter must be the same, thats what you meant right? Also what are good header companies, DC Sports, GReddy, and Spoon are some of the one I kno. Lastly when buying headers what should I look for? Whats a better header than another one? Smoother piping, shorter distance? Maybe a better connecter? Lastly what is better 4-2-1 or 4-1, my friends are telling me 4-2-1 is better.

yes, a 4-1 is better for high end, and a 4-2-1 is better for midrange. the engine you have or the kind of driving you do should determine which design you want. EX: if you have a b16, you have a very small amount of low end power and torque, so for daily driving pleasure, a 4-2-1 is probably ideal.

when a company produces exhaust systems, they usually make a series. for example, apex makes a GT catback and a GT header. the header and the catback system are going to compliment eachother best, because thats what they were designed for. many other brands do this same thing.

don't forget to search google and yahoo also. honda-tech is not the only site that has tech talk, articles, and other info.

How hard are they to install? Do they come with directions? Which is better ceramic or stainless steel? I think I kno the differences between ceramix/stainless steel is how hot they get, like ceramic stays farely cool right? Whats a good size for pipes?

Alright so tell me what to look for Tech-Talk wise.
