EVAP canister hook-up - Can't find 3rd hose
Hey all,
So I'm moving somewhere where they test emissions, and my Integra has been throwing the code P0441 - Incorrect Purge Plow - since I bought it. Everything seemed to run fine so I never bothered. Long story short I replaced the canister itself and cleaned out the solenoid (which was full of black gunk).
So after hours of searching, I haven't been able to find the answer. There is the diagram under the hood I've tried using for reference but I'm not sure where it's leading.
It didn't have a third hose hooked up when I removed it, it just has like a plastic cover of sorts over it. The single hose goes to a small metal pipe along the firewall - I think this is a vent pipe. The hose coming from the cap was connected to the purge control on top of the intake manifod.
Looking at the diagram it would seem the hose is leading somewhere around the throttle body itself, but I couldn't see anywhere to plug or anywhere missing a hose connection. The only thing sorta close was the two-to-one hose into the air intake, but that leads to the engine block.
The only two parts diagrams I've seen referencing the parts is under FUEL PIPE for the canister and it looks the vent and drain pipes, and THROTTLE BODY showing the canister hat to the purge solenoid. If anyone could point me in the right direction or give me any tips from experience, it would be greatly appreciated.

Oh, I guess that's important.
Its a 96 LS. I'll go check the TB again. Would it be the one right about where the intake goes? The parts diagram shows it so I guess its there somewhere.

Here's is a more direct pic of mine, and I don't see the nipple. I do clearly see it on the parts diagram from Honda though, and also in your pictures, that it should be right in front of/below the MAP sensor.
I am unsure of the exact modifications that were done before I bought the car but it wouldn't surprise me in the least if an after market TB was put on or some sort of modification to the stock one. If my CEL comes back on I'll look into getting a different throttle body.
Thank you for posting so many pictures though! This has been driving me crazy since I started looking into it and I've been dreading the day I actually needed to pass emissions.
The Skunk2 actually looks like something I'd consider if my CEL doesn't go away. Thanks again.

No worries. Probally was replaced with another oem throttle body or it could be after market, measure the bore inlet see how big it is and go from there. Theres a aftemarket T.B online that looks exactly like a oem T.B so who knows.
