I just installed my new intake manifold and now I'm getting some weird idle. At first when I crank it up, the idles jumps to like 3000 rpm. Then once I let it idle for a minute or so, it drops down to like 1500 and back up to 2000+, etc., etc. It's pretty damn weird. Anyways, my friends say that it's my throttle body gasket that's causing the problem. I have a 94 ls, but I got a 00 si tb gasket. I didn't really think that could be the cause of this, but just wanna ask anybody else that might know??

Check your vacuum hoses. If one or more of your hoses aren't isn't drawing a vaccum, your idle can be very erratic.

 

Re check every vacuum line. I had the same problem and I had to put t T fitting on one of the lines because the inake manifold is short one vacuum line fitting. I you need anymore help e-mail me a bbrriiaannn@hondavalley.com
