My car has a strange sound when i'm wot and around 5000 then again around 6300. This just started today and i cant figure it out. It makes a little swish sound, and you can feel the car lag back for a second, then it keeps on going like it normally would. I thought it may be a vacuum hose, checked all those, they all look good. The other strange thing is it doesnt do it everytime. Anyone got ideas on what to check for next?

 

The other very important factor i forgot to mention is that i just finished running my first tank of n2o through the engine. I'm running 55 dry shot zex system.

I had the same problem a few weeks back it was fine until 5-5500 rpm and I would get a sputter/hesitation.........turned out to be my ignitor.

 

hows your oil?

 

prolly your plugs... which plugs do you have? i believe you need special plugs when dealing with nos... i could be wrong. i aslo know zex sells plugs for nitrous applications too.

 

yea i got the same problem but mine occurs ar around 2k -3500 rpm
