hey im new to the forum but i have a b18b1 head with a b20b bottom and i was wondering if a b16 or b18c1 head would be a good swap? or should i replace the b20 also?

 

what are you looking for in the engine setup? Hp, economy. reliability, vtec.no vtec be a little more specific in what you are trying to achieve

 

Fyi- vtec head outflows non vtec head by a long shot (oem ports). If you're planning on force- feeding later the head swap is basically top end gain only. All motor, vtec is almost a must

What car is it going in what's your budget(realistically) and power goal. I hope you're not asking HT to build your engine for you for multiple reasons.
1) you will get flamed. 2) you need to do research of your own to learn more. 3) you will get a LOT of variety in answer to your "setup"
There's 2 sections on here I highly advise you look into builds in all motor and forced induction. For now, don't buy anything unless you know what direction you're going and save $ for when you know where to go/what parts to buy.
