Engine Replacement
I need to replace my engine and tranny in my 96 ls 4dr 5 speed. I have been looking at b18b1 engines and I see alot of OBD I II's for sale, the only difference I have been able to tell is the valve cover, I am pretty sure mine is OBD II, would there be any difference between the two in my car for a replacement, is there any difference other than the valve cover?
Thanks
Thanks
they are the same motor, the obd2 just have no oil seperator on the back of the block
you can use either motor, just use your odb2 distributor, ecu, wire harness and possibly oil pump if it has the crank position sensor on the obd1 block

because of the ecu, not the motor, I had an obd2 ls motor is my 95 obd1 integra, its the same motor just the ecu for obd2 has quite a few more sensors and diagnostic tools in the ecu
