I am getting alot of vibration and noise from my engine, more on the driver side. Some of the noise sounds like it is coming from the cam gears (stock). I was told by a Acura service center that the motor mounts was broken front L/R and it should stop the Vibration and some of the noise. I replaced the Motor mounts right side mounted with ease but the left side (driver side) was not aligned and we were not able to put Mount back on. So me and the mechanic put a jack under the oil pan with a wooden block to put it into alignment. Once the motor mount was on we lowered the jack and the Engine just kept going down with it. So the engine looks okay from the top but it is actually leaning down on the left (driver) side. The mechanic said it may need frame work? What do you think?
1st, I dont know why you would put an ls in a gsr. 2nd it could be your frame. Was your car ever in an accident. You could also have the wrong motor mount bracket which could make it not line up.

Duh.
Are you using the right mounts? Can you take a picture of the new and old mounts together?
