Its a 95 gsr , It knocks when Started up and Slowly disappears at idle , THe knock isnt a CLick IT sounds like KNocking on a wooden table when Rev at 2,000......... Rod bearing? valve adjustments , where should i start

 

valves make a clicking sound

bearings make more of a sound like a crd in bike spokes

detonation sounds like someone hitting your blcok with a hammer

rod knock is a constan noise like someone taking a tiny jack hammer to the block

it could also be some random piece in your engine bay

my alarm horn was hitting against and wheel well, I was trippin out because I thought it was rod knock though

check timing abd listen for the bearing noise, if all else fail pull the oil pan off and inspect your block
