alright will i dont know why but the motor idles high (sits at 1,700 rpm even after warm up) the motor sounds funny if u just leave it idling it makes these chokin noise...i can't go pass like 2k or the motor will start boggin and choking this also happened to me yesterday also and i liked switch ecu's and tried my bauudys ecu and still doing the same thing...now i know its not an ecu problem i thought it was the ecu because it was chipped but no its not the ecu...need help ppl if you guys had this problem b4...

 

Vacuum leak?

 

i dont think its a vaccum leak its weird my check engine is turning on also b4 that i just had to go and touch the vtec wires because its a tap in vtec...and it would run fine again but then this time somethings really wrong wit it...

 

A) Check the CEL codes (if you dont know how, please go read the thread at the TOP of this forum).
B) Bent Valves?
C) To idle high, it HAS to be getting extra air from somewhere....generally its a vacuum leak, sometimes its from bent exhaust valves that arent closing.
D) What have you changed right before this started happening?
