Will a 99+ P72 plug in to a 96-98 harness? If so will the 99+ ECU run the 96-98 motor with out having a CEL? Thanks in advance.

to answer your question.... obd2a is 96-98 civics/96-99 integra...and obd2b is 99-01 civics/00-01 integras. So yes, a 99 p72 ecu will plug into the 96-99 integra's...but not into a 96-98 civic. And it should run fine on a GSR motor no matter what year it is.
