are the 96-98 ecu's the same as the 99up ecus for a 99 dx hatch, can i plug a 96 ecu into my 99 cx harness??

thanks, are all 99 up ecus the same i mean can i plug the ecu from a gsr or si from the same year into my cx if i want to do a swap??
