hey whats up guys, i have a 97 LS, and everytime i roll down my window (drivers side) its squeals annoyingly, does this also when i roll it back up, what can i do to get rid of the squeak? TIA

 

I have the same thing in my passenger side window, i haven't really looked into fixing it though. Too lazy for a smaller thing like that.

 

This is also happening to me, along with a terrible rattling noise when the window is all the way down.

2 different Fixes......

Sedan/DB: Take off your door panel, remove door speaker and unscrew door/window relay box to gain easier access to the guiding rail of the window. Wipe the rail/track the window follows until its decently clean. Then, re-grease the track with White lithium or general purpose grease....should fix the prob

Coupe/DC: Follow directions for sedan. To fix the rattling, make sure you have the rubber guiding strip on the guide itself and that the window is following it. I just removed the glass, we-installed my rubber strip, and no more rattles..

For Shin Tegra the reason for the rattling is the rail guide came off, here is a thread from TI on how to fix that problem for G3 Tegs.
