Driveability problems after OBD1 conversion <---------HELP!
I have a 98 DB7 that I converted to manual... it runs fine with a stock P75 but when I plug my chipped p28 in the car, the idle is low and jumpy and the car will not accelerate and will just bog down. I tested the P28 in my brother's 98 EK (LS swap) and it runs fine. I have no clue where to start diagnosing the problem...
is the p75 a manual ecu..the problem must lie within the auto to manual swap.check back over everything and try to. im kinda confused it said you did a manual conversion and a obd1 upgrade but what kind of car do you have?it would have to be a 90 to 93 da to convert to obd1 and if the ecu was out of a 98 then it would be obd2 i dont know your post is a little confusing but im sure i can help
I have a 1998 Integra (OBD2) and I used a OBD1 jumper harness with a chipped p28.... does that make things clearer?

the p28 has a LS base map... right now i have a check engine light because my seconary O2 sensor is bad... so that's part of the reason I want to use the P28
I am having the same problem.... i swapped in a JDM B18B, and ran a USDM OBD2 ECU, ran fine except baro code and WOT issue where it bogs, so i bought a chipped p06 and OBD1 conversion harness... hooked it all up and it idles ok, but when the car moves, even coasting the revs bounce up and down and i'm unable to accelerate... putting the OBd2 Ecu back in returns my normal ecu behaviour.. any idea's?
