Default Drive Cycles...

Hey guys. I just had an LS swap done into my ek hatch and we connected everything correctly, my question is that since the ecu we disconnected and reconnected, how many miles does the car have to be driven now so it can pass an emissions test? we've driven it atleat 25miles and the emissions machine still wont reconize the car. Im assuming that since it was an early odb2 ecu and motor that the VIN number on the ecu and on the car dont matter. Any answers guys?

what do u mean by doesn't recognize the car?
the drive cycles will complete the needed monitors for obdII cars...are u saying that the monitors aren't completed yet? i would sya u need to do some more driving maybe 100 miles...but there is no definte mileage u need to drive..it just needs to be driven under certain condition if thats the problem.

Was the car OBDII to begin with? If not, the wiring is not there for the OBDII communication.
