Default Door panel issues...

Okay, so I have a 94 DC2, and I just removed my door panel for a custom fabric I had to put on...

now, I'm trying to put the panel back on, but it isn't working out for me so well.
To give better clarity, when I was putting the driver's side back on, I got the top left COMPLETELY aligned with the window, door, and whatnot. It was pretty flush.

BUT, when it came to the other top half (towards the side mirror), I COULDN'T EVER GET IT TO ALIGN RIGHT. Is there something I'm doing wrong?

I went to team-integra and there's an article that made it seem like cake, but idk. I was getting really irritated after a while because NO MATTER how I tried putting the panel back on, there was always that one gap up by the side mirror.

Help? Anyone? Thanks...
If there's anything that isn't clear enough, just ask and I'll answer.

is the window down? did you take off the plastic triangle cover?

i always put the mirror side of the panel on first then slide it down while i line the rest of the top up.

Yeah, the window's down... I HAVE TO TAKE OFF THE PLASTIC TRIANGLE COVER????

I did put the mirror side on first, but it wouldn't go all the way... I GUESS I'LL TRY TAKING OFF THE PLASTIC COVER... I'M NOT HOME RIGHT NOW, BUT DO I JUST PRY IT OFF, THEN PUT THE PANEL BACK ON OR WHAT?

Thanks for the info so far.
