Does your Integra have a flex pipe?
I hear some people talking about Flex pipes....
I kno mine doesn't have one, and never did. So Wanna kno who does and who doesn't...

i think mostly only turbos have it because the turbo is a lot of weight and without one all the engines movement will affect the wekest point which is the manifold and cause it to crack.
i dont think you really need one for all motor the header will never crack. the spring and bolts on the cat shuld be enough

the turbo only theory is not correct because cavaliers have them. so it just depends on the car and what the engineers designed.
all factory gen 3's use the spring/bolts on allow for flex. I think he was saying that it's common for turbo integra's to use a flex pipe. Overall flex pipes are very common, but also one of the first things to rust out of an exhaust system.

Ive been wondering about this. I have a turbo teg w/out flex pipe. My downpipe flange bolts always loosen and pop out, i was wondering if its cause there some much stress on them from my motor flexing and no 'give' in the exhaust system, any input?
