Now, I am not being critical of you by no means. If it were me, I would buy a header or any other part from a reputable source. I like to know I can return the item if it is damaged in some way. Theres no way to tell how the dent will effect the performance unless it can measured versus an undented header via a dyno.

i honestly dont think a dent will hurt the perf that much -- but id look for a better header (jdm 4-1's or comptech)

Well I have a DC 4-1 header (no 2.5 collector ) and I dented mine pretty good the day I put it on the car. I still got over 170 to the wheels at the dyno. Don't really think it hurt me. Then again it depends on the dent.

As far as used parts go, I say dont buy it unless you can see it first. I personally do not have too much experience with headers, but thats for any part, good luck!

i bought my DC 421 used for $100. It had a couple of very FAT dents, but i don't think it had any significant impact on performance. It was either those dents or put up with that 3000 RPM rattle with the stock header. If you drive my car you won't even notice there's a dent

i dont think the dent will hurt it much.. if it does hurt performance, it wont be much.. for 150, i say get it.

the dent does not hurt the performance unless it closes off one of the tubes completely...end of story

Anyhow I was **** about the dents in my header, ask Acuraracer. But I went and gottem fixed for like $15 .
But i would have to see pix of the dent before i bought it, after the bs i went thru.

on 2nd thought, forget that header.. get the JDM 4-1, i jus put my on monday, it feels much smoother and top end pulls hard. + they have a bolt on skid plate u can buy for it.
