Default CTR/ITR cams or just ITR?

i have itr cams in my car i was wondering if i swapped out the intake cam for a CTR cam if i would feel a difference? who has expereience? any suggestions?

thats not true. the ctr intake side cam is alot more aggresive than the ITR. Higher points.

only three more degrees of lift marc


so its not too much more aggressive then the ITR camshaft

Also the CTR and ITR exhaust cams are exactly the same.Only the Intake cams have different profiles.............

The duration is longer on the CTR. If you're a hardcore streetracer get it.

If you can get a good deal on the CTR cam and you can install it yourself, I say go for it. You can sell your ITR cam and make up a few bucks as well.

BTW, didn't the 00-01 ITR intake cam reduce the difference to just 1.5 degrees?

i can gurantee you there wiull be a difference, my friend has the setup and it pulls harder than mine at higher rpms

i say if you looking for street able HP i would get either itr or ctr if u can afford the bit of difference. With the Type-r family ur going to get alot more mid range power compared to jun spoon crower or todas. Yeah those cams do produce more power but top end. plus the require alot more tunning to get the actuall HP from the amount of money u spend. thats just my opinion.
