Default crower 403 question

im thinking of running the 403 cams after lots of thinking and reading. i am wondering if i keep the stock rev limit would i be able to get away with stock valve springs/retainers or no. i have done a lot of research on this topic and i cant get a definitive answer. so i am asking you guys

Can you get away with running the crower 403 cams with stock springs if you utilize the stock rev limiter.

You can use the stock valve train and keep the stock rev limit - but that would be defeating the purpose of the cam. If you do that, you car will only be louder, idle a bit lower (you can adjust that) and not be any faster. My 1/4 mile times confirm this. One thing the 403s will do is drown out the sound of your intake whistle...

<-- has 403s, stock valve train, stock rev limiter.
