crower 403 question
im thinking of running the 403 cams after lots of thinking and reading. i am wondering if i keep the stock rev limit would i be able to get away with stock valve springs/retainers or no. i have done a lot of research on this topic and i cant get a definitive answer. so i am asking you guys

i`m using the brain cower stage 2 on my ls with stock springs just make you adjust your valves right i adjusted them to the lowest it say for adjustment i`m going to get the dual valve springs so i can go to 7500 8000 rpms
You can use the stock valve train and keep the stock rev limit - but that would be defeating the purpose of the cam. If you do that, you car will only be louder, idle a bit lower (you can adjust that) and not be any faster. My 1/4 mile times confirm this. One thing the 403s will do is drown out the sound of your intake whistle...
