Question about aggressive cams?
If i get a aggressive cam insalled with no aftermarket retainers or springs, do i need to adjust the valves every couple months or so? And if i do, can i avoid doing this if i do get stronger retainers and springs?

most "aggressive" cams nowadays require upgraded valve train like skunk2 stage 2, jun or crower. if you don't expect to get aftermarket retainers or springs, i'd go with itr or ctr cams. and depending on how bad you beat on your motor at high rpm's will determine how often you will need a valve adjustment.

You would be fine with your stock springs/retainers for the meantime, as long as you don;'t rev past stock redline TOO much!!! Those springs are too weak and the retiners will quish themselves out. If you want to maximize the potential those cams can produce, then upgrade your valvetrain and rev it high!!
