Default crome

Im planning to get my car tuned soon with crome. its a 96 jdm itr, with ihe and adjustable cam gears. I was wondering though if I need anything else to help with tuning and to get the most power as I can. Like do I need to get a vafc or fpr etc.

you won't need the Vafc. Crome will do it all for ya but you need your ecu chipped

If your serious about tuning invest in a quality wideband sensor, i cant see how you can tune without one

yes if he takes it to a tuner...but where is the fun in that? I personally would opt to have a wideband in my car 24/7 just because of peace of mind...just think what if something takes a crap on you while your running through the gears WOT and your motor isnt getting as much fuel as it should? boom....

i know his motor is just n/a and a wideband wouldnt be as needed, but in a boosted application I wouldnt run a car without one...

it took me a while to get it working through the ecu too, i dont know if this helps but i was reading on pgmfi.org forums that on some of the ecus you have to remove the j12 jumper from the board, after i did that datalogging worked perfect.

Yes, Crome and Hondata must have J12 removed to datalog through the ECU. Uberdata doesn't.

I run a wideband all the time. I have the Zeitronix wideband with 3.5 bar boost sensor and display screen.
