Default Is this the correct ECU?

That's my ECU, it's in a 98 GSR with a 94 GSR swap, so it should be OBD1. It says P72 on the side, but my car is running rich and the previous owner is a bit shady so i'm wondering if I have the right ECU. Does anyone else have a a picture of the inside of their ECU for a stock 94-96 GSR?

I couldn't find too many pics of the inside of a P72 but the couple I did find looked different

The ECU isn't chipped in any way. Do you have a CEL? Maybe your O2 sensor took a crap on you, causing your engine to run rich.

That ECU is from a 96 GSR. The 98's were 37820-P72-A04. That is an OBDII ECU. It looks fine to me.

I thought OBDII ECUs had one big connector instead of 3 individual ones? I'm totally confused now >_< Because my block is supposedly a 94 based on the block code, the head is a 96, the ECU says 95 INTEGRA GSR on it in sharpie, and my exhaust is half-assed together D: I don't even know if the O2 sensor is in the right spot >_<

Edit: and before you ask wtf is wrong with my car, the previous owner did all this (and told me that it's a stock 98 gsr -_-)

That ECU is definitely not OBDI (94-95).

So maybe I'm running rich because I only have 1 of the O2 sensors? Hmm, I'll go look for the other one (if it's even there). Is it possible that I have an older header that doesn't have the bung for it? The one I replaced was farther back than I thought they usually are.

if you have a 98 gsr, then a obd1 ecu will not plug to factory harness. and yes obd2 has 3 plugs

94-95=obd1
96-98=obd2
so which one do you want or have show apic of where the harness connects do you have a jumper harness?

ya you guys are right its an OBD2 ecu. I just thought since the previous owner swapped the motor with one made for OBD1 it would make sense to swap the ECU too, and the fact that it said 95 integra GSR on the surface of it had me convinced >_<

Now I just gotta figure out where the connector is for the other O2 sensor and plug one in I guess. Hopefully that'll fix it.

there should be 1 o2 sensor before the cat material and 1 after. usually both sensors are in the cat on 94-99 gsr's but if an ls exhaust was put in the 1st o2 could be at the end of the header.
