Define "overheating" please.

What are your temps?

Is your car tuned?

Is 227 the highest temp you are seeing? A fan will only help when the car is not moving.

yeah 227 is the highest ive seen. it does it most of the time in stop and go traffic. i have been able to bring it back down to about 199 when i get the car moving but that is with no thermostat in the car. think it would help to put one back in. i have heard mixed reviews on this not sure what to do.
