computer install iso help
I took out my computer to swap it into another case because the case was corroding and rotting from salt and water exposure.
I had to throw out the cover and and now all i have is the computer itself ready to go back in.
I'm just wondering if there was a diagram or if someone can tell me how to mount it roperly, i have bought a new cover and mounting bracket but it seems its confusing on how it mounts back lol.
I googled but couldnt find anything.
Does anybody know the correct mounting position / install procedure so I could get this **** mounted up properly

you don't remember how the ecu was installed before you took it out?
***For Gen3 integras (94-01) ***
The plugs face the bottom of the vehicle, with the flat-faced metal side facing towards the center of car. It then sits at a sort of angle to where the wires are facing towards passenger seat. Nudge the ecu box around until the mounting "clips" line up with the corresponding screw holes in the side of the vehicle. You will probably have to hold the ecu in place while you get in the first couple screws. I believe the stock screw size uses 11mm tools

well what car is it, what ecu is it, of course I hope you are using the factory and just changing the case right? Like in a haynes manual instillation is the opposite of removal, ah lol!!! Let us know.

well the car was sitting for two years when i had it out for total restoration, and yeah i dont have the helms manual on me, and i did use the factory computer board just swapped the case and had to recently buy the new mount n case n shield, so i cant remember exactly from two years ago how i took it off lol.
it seems like it doesn't wanna fit back in the place it came out of im having trouble with the plastic piece on the wire harness getting in the way and making things difficult.
integra RS 95 2 door coupe, (under the passenger dash mounting behind the kick panel.
i know this sounds retarded and simple but its just causing me grief heh
any1 got a pic of their under dash setup of the way the wires sit with the computer mounted?
****ing wires have that big black plastic rectangle bulky thing making it hard to place.

Yea, the way I told you works. The ecu doesn't sit on the floor, its raised up into the dash by like 3inches.
I can get you a pic in like a few minutes, I have a 94 RS, so exact same everything.
I just swapped my ecu the other day, so its still fresh in my mind
*edit*

Like I said, you will probably have to hold it in place (actually put pressure, not just bracing), as it seems to push towards the bottom of the vehicle. Oh, and the black wire shield like thing just simply goes along the underside of the ecu. You can kind of see how the wires are twisted a bit to get that placement. Don't worry they are twisted like that originally.

basicaly the wire plastic peice thingy go in behind then ?
so i dont need a bracket or a cover shield eh? it doesnt seem like u have one here, just looks like you have the straight up computer mounted.
though the shield cover type thing that protects the computer was hella rusted out n had to be thrown out which protected the case, so i think im gonna use it, gotta figure out to to mount that now lol

actually the cover plate is not a cover plate it seems to be the mounting peice in behind the computer. hmm, looking at ur pics i just realized that. cause i tried mounting my comp and realised there is no mounting holes lol, so yeah i need to get the mounting plate now cause that was the peice rotted on mine

well, there is a bottom plate(mine has ridges in it, but same goldish color as the front (pictured) ),then the board screws into that, then the case bolts on to the bottom plate, completely surrounding it; the case contains the mounting "clips", then the top plate bolts onto the case (mine is a flat surfaced)
