comments on my build
well i have a 2000 gsr with i/h/e fuel pressure regulator and VAFC. i have ctr cams, gears, springs and retainers sitting in my room waiting tobe put in then im going to buy a sk2 intake manifold and get it tuned. im saving up my money frmo now until january since i have no more payments for now and becuase i wanna save up and do it right. if the cams and sk2 mafniold go on before the tune am i able to drive this up to the place to get tuned? or it wont run right? and what is the best, cheapest tune to get for me? any comments? let me know!oh and this is my DD by the way
tuning is the MAIN part in modify any vehicle in my perspective. I'd rather port/polish the head, keep the stock IM and pay for a dyno tune, rather than get a cheap tune and a sk2 IM
Port and polishing up here in the NW is $100-$150 up here.

At one point you say you want to spend money and do it right and then you say you want a cheap tune.....wtf mate?
Personally I'd spend the money on a good tune and some dyno time with a reputable shop in your area.

i mean i wanna spend the money right on the parts, i know theres tons of ways to tune your car, i just want the cheapest way to tune like maybe a chipped ecu instead hondata or w.e

i told you the cheapest route man lol
everyone on this site is gonna be like good tune this and that blah blah..and they are right, but then again its not like you modified the **** out of your car, and your setup will be extremely closely related to a type r due to the cams, so just run a type r chip

CHEAPEST solution to get your car running pretty good-->find a p73(ITR) ecu and use your vafc to lean out the rich spots. youll have to learn how to use the vafc, which isnt hard w/ instructions and you need some knowledge of rich/lean conditions and how the motor is affected by them.
