i have a 94 integra LS with a b20 block and gsr head...

every morning when i start it up...the idle goes to 2500 - 3000

but once the car warms up a little, it gets to normal driving rpm


anyone know wsup with that? i need help..this shi is annoying!

 

that is normal for the most part. when the car is cold, it will idle higher.

however, 2500-3000 seems a little on the high side.

 

ya.. mines about 1400-1600 RPM when i have a cold start

Seems a tad hight to me too. I would say anything about 2000 is normal for when the car is cold.

 

yea when mine is cold it idles at 1700 most
check the map sensor maybe dirty thats what i heard

 

yeah..i kno its not normal...i would check my map sensor...
how would i clean it tho?
