Yes...it has struts and springs. The difference of regular struts and coilovers it that the body of the strut is threaded so you can adjust the ride height of the car. My suggestion is to get coilovers with adjustable dampening too. It is worth the few extra bucks.

Tein makes alot of different combos of struts and springs. Make sure the ones you are looking at are height and dampening adjustable. 800 bucks sounds real cheap for the full coilovers IMO.

just so u know basics dont have adjustable dampenings. if your looking into full coilovers with non adjustabel dampening look into the omni power coilovers. thats what i have and im very happy with them. they should be a little stiffer than the basics if your looking into performance from them....

Those are height adjustable but not dampening adjustable. I would recommend having both because on my car i had to adjust the dampening settings because the ride was too harsh. but....if i want to handle real well for harsh driving then i click the screws and my ride changes in less than 2 min.

tein is a good company, you can find the super street coilovers from tein for like 1000. good deal, they do offer the adjustable spring, and damper combo...
