Man, I just need to vent. When I started working on installing my coilovers this morning, it looked as though it was going to be a 1.5 (maybe 2) hour job. Well, the fronts went exceptionally well, but when I got to the rears, all hell broke loose. I had two frozen and rusted bolts that broke as soon as I put a decent amt of pressure on them. So...I had to drill them all out and I'm not even quite done with that. I decided to take a break until tomorrow. This shouldn't be this hard!!!!

Dude, you're awesome. I just came in from my garage to take a break from this torture, and was comtemplating how I was gonna find a bolt that would work. Thanks so much!!!
Actually that's quite common, not that it's any consolation to you. When I first installed my coilovers, I also had the bolts and bushings so "frozen" that I also had to replace both rear LCA's. Get everything removed before you order bolts tomorrow in case you also need them too! (I'm assuming that's what you were referring to in your "Broken Bolt" post?)
Yes, we had the exact same thing happen when we tried to install my springs. Only one bolt broke, but it was also on Sunday and we had to wait 'til Monday to get new ones. Plus, the drill wasn't working very well, and it took like 8 hours to drill out the bolt. Apparently, this happens all the time.

Yeah, it's looking like I might have to replace the LCAs. How much will that cost me?? I unfortunately broke the bolt holding the LCA on to the hub, so that's gonna be a bitch to get out. I'm so pissed at my damn car right now...

Man, that does suck. When we did it, drilling out the bolts was the most annoying part. Having to replace the shock wasn't fun either, since it was 7 am on Monday morning and we only had time to go to Acura. Stock shocks are expensive!
If you're gonna have to replace those parts anyway, then I suggest putting a big torch to it! Really! Drilling those hardened bolts is a royal pain, but I guess I don't have to tell you that!
well rather then spending a crap load of money on new lca's you should just get new bushings and get the old ones pressed out and new ones pressed in...the bushings are only 30 bucks a piece

Where do i get new bushings??? I am having to drill out the old bolts inside the bushings, and I bet that I'm wrecking the bushings pretty badly.
I am so glad I am doing this work on my car now (2000 GSR). So far no stuck bolts and 1/2 tube of anti-sieze and everything is back together.
You can also try tightening the bolts first. It sounds wierd but it does work (sometimes). Something about the bolt willing to get tighter rather than loose. The motion of the bolt breaks it loose and will let penetrating oil into the threads. Good luck. After hearing your problems I think I am going to pull all the suspension bolts i work on and coat them in anti-sieze.

Othervise your vaisting time drilling those things out because once you drill them you can't get them out anyways because they are rusted on to the metal sleeve in the middle of the busing....
When I installed my Comptech springs in my 96 my rears were a pain in the ***. Bolts were rusted and brokeon me. I did the install 3 weeks ago. I just cut the shock so that I was able to remove it and get it out of the way and bought new LCA's
