yeah so i'm on my way to work yesterday and i'm just crusing and all of a sudden i decided to get on it a lil bit and i just stomp on the gas didnt down shift. and it feels like i doing nothing...it sounds like the engine wants to rev high but it doesnt. then after this happened a couple times the engine light came on and i check it out and its code 43 which is fuel system. my question is where do i check and has anyone else had this problem?

oh yeah its a 94 ls (stock motor)

 

try reseting ecu, check fuel filter, could also b bad o2 sensor

 

probably need a new o2 sensor, usually that fixes it

code 1&2 are O2 sensors


will a new o2 really fix it?

 

the o2 sensor can trip off this code though. It the o2 is not functioning it can mess up your air/ fuel ratio and this could trip a code 43. if you have a friend near by with an integra, switch with him to see if that fixes the problem.

 

i agree get a good known o2 and put it in ur car it code disapears then u kno what it is
