i just installed a DC SS header in a buddy of mines car, his original sensor was white at the tip and i put it back in to see if it would werk.. well it didnt, threw me a code 41, so i switched it out with an O2 sensor i had layin around, and that also didnt work. i told him that a new sensor would cost around 100 dollers... i can probably get some more used once from my shop, but should i just go ahead and get a new one,

i have a 01 LS. how do i check what code it is throwing w/out taking it to the acura dealership??

 

might be different.... but all the way to the rigth of the console, under where the glove compartment is there should be a green little boxy thing with a connecter in it, take the connecter out and get a peice of wire and put each end in each of the 2 wholes..... then start your car and watch the check eng light..... each long blink is 10, and short blink is 1... if u still gots troubles, let me know, ill take some pics
