I have a b18b in my crx obd1 conversion and some times when driving code 4 comes on and then when I shut it off it does not come on what would the cause of that?

 

would code 4 throw your timeing off?

 

crank position sensor. I think when it throws this code it limits the engine does it bog out at like 3k?

 

The car feels some what slow all around, but its weird it come on every once in a while and I will shut it off start it back up and it will be off. What should I check or do about it?

 

do a search on here I would check all the wiring first. make sure somethings not loose, then go from there the CPS is the distributor if i remember correctly that might be bad.

 

I am about to check the wireing on the dizzy, but my check engine ligt comes on more often on now and stays on sometime to.

 

Just today My car started to bog really bad sometimes below 3k rpms but no check engine light is on! Today I check my compression on the b18b it came out at 180 180 175 175 thats not bad right as long as it is not to far apart but some b series motors I have seen it up to 2 somthing for the compression why is that?
