i just had a check engine light on while i was driving. i came home to look at the code. i dont have a scan tool so i used a paper clip. i checked the code and it just blinked 1 time over and over slowly. what code is that?

how many times does it blink before it pauses for a good amount of time? 8? 3? 2? or 1?

just 1 i counted it up to 30 times its just one slowly over and over

thats for the IAT (intake air temp sensor)

search that and search cel code ten to see how people fixed it. there is a sticky at the top with this info also.

Any '96-current vehicle can be scanned for free at many auto parts stores, including Autozone. They'll even print out a paper with the code, explanation for the code and causes for that code.
