Wussup, I've just swapped an B20 into my integra and it is throwing code 31. I've searched and code 31 is an Automatic Transmission Signal, but my question is why is it through this code when it's a manual transmission.
Do anyone know how to get ride of this code by unplugging something??

you can take off the negative battery cable for a few mins 5-10 and press the brake twice, then re connect and that should work! i know there are a few fuses you can remove to do this but i just do mine that way if necessary!

wussup.. it didnt work.. code 31 still shows... is there another method to get this code out the way? This dont make any sense

 

Sounds like your ECM is for a car with an auto trans? So after you clear it, the code just comes back because you still don't have the auto transmission...

Search back, I kinda remember seeing how you could jumper something, or disconnect something, in the ECM so it doesn't look for a signal from an auto trans.

 

Nah its not my ECU, I have already used two different ECU's both are for manual. Do anyone know how to jump this code out the way or solve this problem??
