Default P0700 Error Code

Hi, my EM2 started giving this error code and I am told it's transmission related. I have downloaded a copy of the service manual, but it does not explain this code, can someone help me please as to what it is, and how do I rectify the problem? And from the diagnostic it gave a reference of 1-1. And it said to refer to the Honda Service Manual.

I am going to guess that it probably means a code like P0711 - Problem in ATF Temperature Sensor Circuit

Help please!

Default Re: P0700 Error Code

For P0700, it says to refer to the auto tranny DTC section. The only way to get that DTC is to put a diagnostic tool (scan tool, code reader, whatever you wanna call it) on it and see what code you get.

You can also diagnose it by the symptom troubleshooting index if it's showing any abnormal performance. That index is also in the auto tranny chapter.

Try resetting the ECM/PCM by pulling fuse #6 in the underhood fusebox for at least 10 seconds. This is to be done while the ignition is OFF. Then see if the code comes back.
