Default clutch problems...help...!

hey guys...
anyways monday while driving home on the freeway i shifted in 5th and the clutch gear got stuck...and i couldn't shift it out of the gear until i restarted the car but then it wouldn't allow to shift out of first....so anyways i made it home and tried to rebleed the whole system hoping that there was air in the hydralic line but there wasn't...so i next looked at the master cylinder and it was leaking so i replaced that ...reblead but with no luck ...i then adjusted the clutch pedal out ...bingo it allowed me to shift but only for a mile, and only when the clutch was fully depressed to the floor...anyways im completly stuck and i don't know what to do ...im thinking it could be the slave as well.??? the clutch is new and only has about 600 miles on it so i doubt that it could be it...help please..

Sounds to me like your slave cylinder if you already replaced the master cylinder. My next guess would have been a failing clutch disk/PP, but I just saw you installed this recently. I would try replacing the slave, shouldn't cost you more than 40 big ones from a Honda dealership. Good luck

I had a similar problem. My clutch wouldn't disengage even if I put the pedal to the floor. Did it sporatically too. Recently it got real bad to the point the car wasn't driveable. Checked the slave and master and replaced the master. Made no difference. Put a bar on the fork and moved it as far as it could go and the clutch still wouldn't disengage. So it came out to be the pp and the disc that was messed up and both had been replaced very recently (15k old). From what I hear integra clutches are prone to having parts break off in there and stuff like that but I don't know for sure.

Thats what happened to me, part of a spring got sheered off from hard launching I guess (stock clutch I believe). Well the little piece of that spring floating around gave me similiar symtoms to your problem. And that was after I swapped the slave, master, and tranny fluid... what a waste of cash and time since I had to so the clutch after too. But you got a new clutch so I dunno, just thought I'd share some insite with you. I'd try the "Put a bar on the fork" of the slave test before buying more parts. good luck.

When I installed my ACT extreme pressure plate and street disc(in my GSR motor), I experiened similar problems. I could drive the car for a little while and all of a sudden I would have trouble selecting another gear. I would adjust the clutch pedal and the problem would disappear. This problem always kept coming back. I reinstalled my stock clutch and had no more problems. I hope someone can help us out. Thanks!!!
