clutch "knocking" when 1st gear engaged
i don't know if this is normal or if its something that could turn into a problem later, but i have a Neuspeed N2 sport clutch installed (for about a year now) that makes a 'clunk' or knocking noise when i'm at a stop and i put it in first gear. it happens maybe one or two seconds after i put it in first. i don't even release the clutch pedal all the way and it will do this. it doesn't happen everytime but a lot. if the 'knock' is hard enough it will even lurch the car forward a hair or two.
i'm not exactly sure, but i think this started happening right after i installed this aftermarket clucth.
is it normal for 'sport' type clutches to do this?

Re: clutch "knocking" when 1st gear engaged
my b16 started doing that last night, but it wont move at all...if i put it in first there is a loud knock and if i let out the clutch the car wont even stall if left in first, it will just act like it is in neutral and keep making the knock. if the car is in neutral there is no knock.
