Clunking when starting in first/reverse
Background: Mildy built engine with new mounts ( solid avid mounts) w/ stage 4 Competition clutch + 12lbs Competition flywheel. Also, new axles.
Basically, after a week from picking up my car from the shop ( roughly October IIRC, going to check receipt when I get home). I have heard a "clunking" sound coming what I think is passenger side when I am starting off in first/reverse. This only seems to happen in 1500-2500 rpm. ( Anything higher I do not hear this "clunking sound"). This occurs during a "normal engagement". By normal.. Typical rev out to 1500-2500 rpm and let the clutch out at a medium speed. ( Mind you I have all manual cars.. never had a problem with engagement, even with stage 2 clutch previously in it before the swap). I have VERY slowly let out the clutch to the point the rpms barely move the car and I do not hear the clunk, as well as if I drop the clutch ( dropping was done on my families property on a back road). The clunking is louder in reverse.. but it has same symptoms as in first.
Also, note when I am in first and I "suddenly tap" the accelerater it give me a "clunk" Not as loud as starting off.. but you can hear it. Which pointing me to something other than the clutch.
So my question..
Could it be an axle not properly in the transmission?
TB Throw out bearing?
Improper lubrication of something dealing with the axles?
Driver error?
Mounts? ( really doubt since they are new.. at least I hope not)
Going back to mounts.. Maybe the solid is pulling the metal out of the frame?
Driver error?
I appreciate the responses ahead of time. I been trying to figure this out for a while now.

Also, doubt it was the syncros. This is the same transmission with a different clutch ( all parts are brand new). Mind you I had a stage 2 clutch on this before. I don't have any problems with it in gear, getting in gear.. or getting it out of gear. It only seems to happen when I am trying to "normally starting off".
I could be wrong, if I am please feel free to correct me.
MODS- Can this be put in the TECH area please? Perhaps I could get more help in that section.

Are those axles aftermarket new or reman new? clunking from a dead stop could mean inner c.v. joint with too much play. i have seen new aftermarket and new reman axles junk out of the box.
