Climate Controls don't seem to be operating at all times...and heat gauge does not show signs of full operation either..every now and then it'll show a reading of the engine's temperature...What Types of drastic steps need to be taken?

 

Check/replace your thermostat. Also, check the wiring to your temp sensor for your gauge.

BTW, the temp sensor for your gauge is the little 1 wire sensor that is underneath your dizzy cap. When the wire came loose on mine, the gauge would fluctuate drastically.

 

when you mentioned "dizzy cap" what did you mean by that?
