my car makes a very distinct "click" sound almost everytime i engage/disengage the clutch. it only clicks once and is sometimes very loud. it happens in almost any gear and gets really annoying.

any input would be great.

did you recently did a clutch job? could be that the clutch is a tad bit off..which when you press down on the pedal which engage the clutch and the clutch and shaft is slightly hitting each other...other thing could be the cluthc master cylinder..right behind the pedal before the resorvoir.

 

i bought the car about 3 months ago, my mom drove it for 2 months untill i got my license back, and it has been driving me crazy. we havent done any work to it at all. i am putting on an aem cold air intake on tommorow. i just want to know what it is.
