like the titles says i got a check engine light

i checked for code n i get a 21(vtec solenoid)

the light does not turn on rite away.....but only when vtec should pop....

also jus installed a vafc 1st gen......i follow all the instuctions on the apex i web site.......

Save that for someone who asks if they can get a part to make VTEC hit harder or something...not someone with a legitimate question.

 

you might have to change your vtec solenoid I had the same problem, I changed my solenoid and the problem was fixed....... is 21 the only code your getting? also is vtec still Engaging?

I thinkn the VAFC might have something to do with it. Did you go over everything and double check? You might have a loose connection on one of your connectors, or one could be mixed up or something.

 

VTEC fluid? .....oh **** is that something i can ask autozone for......or maybe honda dealer????....lol......funny **** yet...

i jus check wit a friend of mine n he told me that this happens when i connect the oil pres. so i disconnected and *proof* no more check engine(some times it still comes up but not too offten) still havent checked what its for....

vtec stills pops....now.....it didnt before....

but i feel it runin like crap so in guessin i gotta get some one to tune it.....

also i got no knock sensor.....another friend of mine showed me a way how to trick the ecu......that does work....

 

N-E ONE KNOW WHER I CAN CHIP TO REMOVE THE KNOCK SENSOR
