Default check engine light

i was just wondering if anybody new the code that poped up in my 97 gsr it states that the 3rd cylinder is misfireing what would be the cause of this and how to fix it i know that only the deler can clear the code

likely a clogged injector. check color of plug and have injector flow tested. there should be a swithc under the pass side of dash you hold I think for 2 seconds that resets engine light.

schec ur plugs /cup/rotor.i think the bottom under the steering colum is for the main reminder lights.u have to unplug the fuse for ecu or remove the neg.battery for ten sec.make sure u have ur codes for radio.

my 2 and 3 are also misfiring. the plugs and wires are good, and the injectors are also good. timing is on point. any other ideas?

I had a mis fire in my 4th cyl. After taking aprat my whole engine. I had found that one of my eaxuat values were bent. After replacing it. The problem never came back. Hope this helps.

2000 GSR

my 2 and 3 are also misfiring. the plugs and wires are good, and the injectors are also good. timing is on point. any other ideas?

Unplug your battery as someone else said. The box they are all referring to is the Maint. Req. light as stated above.

Also, try doing a compression check and see what your compression shows up at.

i would get it periodically on diff cyls on and off.
it was my FR, aem at that
i had too small a orfice in it for my big fuel pump and it took a while to **** it up .
i changed the orfice and seems fine now .
but i bet its fuel related
