I got a 94 Ls and every now and then i get a cel pop up. I always mean to go home n check it but i always forget to. On my home 2day i got it and went inside got directons and did it. I used a bent paper clip and shoved it in both prongs. Turn key to ignition 2 then It blinks. Now i know long blink= 10 short ones= 1, I sat there for like 15 minutes tryin to figure out what code it is. It just blinks the same over n over 4½ second intervals i counted. Does this always blink if the paper clip is in the prongs or am i getting code #1 over n over? Plz help thnx

 

so it keeps blinking with no pauses after the 4 1/2 seconds, just a constant 4 1/2 second gap between every flash?

would it blink automatically just sticking the pin inside it?

 

don't quote me on this, but i think if it blinks like that, it just means that the computer is sending out a signal, but not reporting any codes....kinda like a confimation that the system is working.....not sure, but i saw something on another site and i think that's what it said....correct me if i'm wrong.
